The project will train more than 30 Imams on the values of peace, dialogue and tolerance as well as to organize trainings and coaching sessions on dialogue and conflict facilitation in four regions. Through training religious and community leaders, the project will strengthen peace and cooperation within the Central African Muslim community and promote social cohesion by giving religious leaders skills in mediating and facilitating dialogue.

The third and final phase or the project will focus on bringing together representatives of Muslim and Christian communities to strengthen collaboration to promote mutual respect and social cohesion.

The launch was presided over by the mayor of Bangui, Mr. Emile Gros-Raymond Nakombo, as well as leaders within the Muslim community.
