Meet Hind Hafuda and Eidel Malowicki, two young leaders from Vienna who are transforming the way we connect across cultures and religions, in this 30-minute online session celebrating World Interfaith Harmony Week.

Growing up in diverse cultural and religious backgrounds in Vienna, Austria — Hind with Muslim roots and Eidel in a Hassidic Jewish family — both share a passion for fostering understanding and building meaningful relationships. As Ambassadors of MJLC Vienna*, they co-founded Yalla·City·Walks, Yalla·City·Sports, and Yalla·City·Talks, bringing together young people of different faiths to walk, run, and engage in open conversations that challenge stereotypes and create shared experiences.

In this interactive session, they’ll share their journey of turning everyday spaces into platforms for dialogue, the challenges of navigating interfaith activism as young women, and how art, education, and movement can become tools for social change.

Whether you’re interested in interreligious dialogue, youth leadership, or creative approaches to community engagement, this session will inspire you to take the first step—literally and figuratively—toward a more connected world.

This session is part of the brand-new Youth Series of Webinars, "NextGen Talks"—a four-episode journey into youth-driven dialogue and inclusion! If you’re inspired by this conversation, don’t miss the other three episodes, where we’ll explore further inspiring stories, impactful initiatives, and transformative ideas for creating real change.

Episode 2 of 4: Youth Power for Peace: Breaking Barriers & Building Change

This isn’t just another webinar—it’s a conversation, and YOU are part of it!

Young people across Africa are leading peace efforts in their communities, yet they’re often labeled as part of the problem instead of the solution. With 60 percent of the continent under 25, it’s time to change that narrative.

In this 30-minute session, Harriet, a Kenyan youth peace advocate and KAICIID Fellow from the coast region, shares real experiences from the frontlines of grassroots peacebuilding—from mobilizing young people in conflict mitigation to strengthening community networks for long-term peace.

With hands-on experience in peacebuilding and security, Harriet will break down the biggest challenges, how she’s handled pushback, and what keeps her going. She’ll also share lessons from working with youth and security officers in Mombasa and Kilifi Counties, creating better relationships to prevent conflict and build trust.

This isn’t just another webinar—it’s a space to hear real talk from a young leader making change, ask bold questions, and get inspired to take action. If you're passionate about building peace, challenging stereotypes, or just figuring out where young people fit in shaping the future, this conversation is for you.

In celebration of World Interfaith Harmony Week, Join us for an exciting and interactive 30-minute session on how Lebanese Scouts are breaking barriers and building friendships across cultures and faiths. The Lebanese Scouting Federation, representing over 41 scout associations and 17 different religious and cultural backgrounds, has been leading the way in creating inclusive and diverse scouting experiences. We will hear about two initiatives implemented under the KAICIID Dialogue 360 programme, supporting young changemakers in fostering meaningful conversations and bridging divides:

In 2020 – "With Faith, We Are Stronger" brought young scouts together in a fun and dynamic summer club across four regions of Lebanon. Through engaging discussions, cultural exchanges, games, and interactive activities, scouts explored their shared values while celebrating their differences.

In 2023 – The Federation took it a step further! Noticing a gap in diversity policies, they launched a power-packed training programme to help scout leaders champion inclusion in their units. Now, this program is a permanent part of scout leadership training, giving young people the tools to embrace diversity and create real impact.

This is your chance to speak up, ask questions, and share your thoughts! Whether you're a scout, a leader, or just passionate about dialogue, we want to hear from you! Expect a live poll, interactive discussions, and open mic moments—because your voice matters!
