At the initiative of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Secretariat of the Union for the Mediterranean, KAICIID, together with the Anna Lindh Foundation and the UN Alliance of Civilizations, is co-organising a High Level Meeting on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue in Barcelona, Spain, on 22-23 July.

This meeting falls within the framework of the 20th anniversary of the Barcelona Process, the ongoing consultation regarding the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) review, and responds to the growing importance assigned to intercultural and interreligious dialogue in the Mediterranean as powerful tools for achieving stability and peace, fighting against intolerance and extremism, while upholding values of peaceful coexistence.
