Georgia Gleoudi is the E-learning courses moderator at KAICIID. 'She has an MA in Religion in Peace and Conflict from Uppsala University and a BA in International Relations and European Studies from Panteion University, Athens. She is interested in Religion and State relations, faith - based diplomacy and intercultural relations.

Daniel is Senior Education Programme Associate at Tanenbaum. He received his BA in Philosophy and Religion from Swarthmore College in 2010. Daniel completed his Ph.D. in Religious Studies at Columbia University in 2017. His dissertation examined how theories of habit and habituation in modern French philosophy could increase scholarly understanding of the lived practice of religious ethics. While completing his doctorate, he served as a Rapporteur for the Columbia University Seminar for Comparative Philosophy, which sought to advance dialogue between Indian, Chinese, and Western philosophical traditions, and as a Preceptor for Columbia University’s Core Curriculum. Daniel continued to work with the Core Curriculum after completing his Ph.D. as the TOMS Core Faculty Fellow in Contemporary Civilization, a course introducing students to fundamental issues in understanding human communities and the values that define them. 

Tanenbaum’s globally recognized pedagogy, the Seven Principles for Inclusive Education, builds inclusive and respectful classrooms. A valuable resource for any classroom or lesson plan, the Seven Principles increase behaviours of respect and inclusion. They are also the foundation for all Tanenbaum’s curricula and teacher training programs, many of which are available online.

Dajana is Programme Coordinator at Youth for Peace Bosnia and Herzegovina.  She is a young and ambitious student pursuing a Master’s degree in political sciences and interreligious dialogue and peacebuilding.  Dajana is a devoted youth educator, with over 6 years of experience in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. She is creative and open-minded, and enjoys being around people coming from different ethnic, religious and professional backgrounds.

Qhawekazi is Youth Development Specialist at the South African Youth Forum.  Qhawe sees the need for youth to create the future they want and harness the beauty of intergenerational spaces and contributes towards the implementation of the youth peace and security agenda in Africa. She recently participated in several high-level panels and dialogues discussing intergenerational dialogue, the importance of responding to the realities that young people live with at all levels of society, and sharing her views on the importance of gender mainstreaming as a young peace female advocate. Qhawekazi is a member of the Southern African Youth Forum cohort that took the KAICIID SDG online course.

Dhaniah founded the Interfaith Youth Circle to create and connect youth interfaith leaders of various faith groups, so that they may lead their communities in making religion a bridge and not a barrier. It is a ground-up initiative, run by young people, aimed at planting seeds that foster discourse around faith and beliefs, through building capacities to take part in crucial, challenging and potentially controversial conversations, training young people to become facilitators in their Scripture Reasoning circles.

Dhaniah has worn several hats throughout her career. Currently completing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology in Vancouver, Canada, she has been a teacher in the public school system, as well as a media industry professional as a producer, researcher and scriptwriter, focusing on educational programmes for children as well as faith issues. She is certain that today’s youths will lead the way to that future.

Oluwasegun is an administrator, trainer and academic, with a focus on research in peace education. Oluwasegun presently works as a Child Education Officer with Teach for Nigeria and has been engaged in community projects in numerous communities including neighbouring West African countries like Benin Republic Cameroun, and Ghana. He has been a trainer at Nigeria Red Cross Society and Kolabod High School and has trained hundreds of people through the sustainable development goals (SDGs) Course designed and delivered for various States in Nigeria, the Red Cross Society in Nigeria, and the neighbouring countries in West African countries. He also developed a “train the trainers” course for youths in underserved communities and piloted this initiative in 2016-2020. Ogunsakin holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Science Degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, Certificate in Social Protection from the Institute of Development Studies, London, United Kingdom. Oluwasegun is the author of four journals and articles, including the Illegal Migration and Security Challenges in Nigeria.
