KAICIID Opens Call for Applications for 2026 International Fellows Programme

12 June 2025

The International Dialogue Centre - KAICIID is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 Call for Applications for its prestigious International Fellows Programme. This year, the Programme invites two distinct international cohorts, including a dedicated track for staff and volunteers from youth service organizations operating at global, regional, or national levels.

Since its inception in 2015, the KAICIID Fellows Programme has empowered over 550 religious leaders, educators, and peacebuilders from more than 90 countries. Participants have represented a wide spectrum of religious traditions, including Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Sikhism, Indigenous religions, and more.

The Fellows Programme is a year-long, fully funded capacity-building initiative designed to strengthen skills in interreligious dialogue, intercultural communication, conflict transformation, and social cohesion. It blends in-person and online training with experiential learning, dialogue praxis, and regional engagement, ultimately equipping Fellows to become catalysts for peace and mutual understanding in their communities.

Upon successful completion, Fellows join the KAICIID Fellows Alumni Network, an active global platform that offers continued collaboration and support. Each Fellow is also eligible for seed funding to launch a modest interreligious dialogue initiative tailored to their local context.

What sets this Programme apart is its emphasis on deep personal transformation and sustained local impact. We seek individuals who are well-grounded in their faith and open to dialogue across difference,” said Senior Programme Manager - Fellows.

Applicants must demonstrate a background in religion, interreligious or intercultural dialogue, or peacebuilding, and must be proficient in English. Institutional support is also required. The deadline for all applications is 31 July 2025.
