The Impact of Dialogue
Established as an intergovernmental organization in November 2012, the International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) is a partner
for UN agencies, national governments and internationally active religious and interreligious organizations.
We promote and employ interreligious dialogue (IRD) to support conflict prevention and resolution, sustainable peace and
social cohesion; to promote mutual respect and understanding among different religious and cultural groups; and to counteract
the abuse of religion to justify oppression, violence and conflict.
Our vision is a world in which there is respect, understanding and cooperation among people; justice, peace and reconciliation;
and an end to the abuse of religion to justify repression, violence and conflict.
