Trainer, the Institute for Political and Civic Education on pluralism, transitional justice and community development

Thet Naing Oo has served as a volunteer at the Mandalay Catholic Youth Commission since 2012 and continued to serve as a youth president from 2015 to April 2018. At the same time, he took part in the interfaith youth movement through youth activities such as training, sports, and music competitions that strive to promote harmonious and peaceful coexistence among followers of different religions. He then worked hard in the interreligious movements by networking with the organizations, religious leaders and youth interfaith activities.

He has been the program trainer at the Institute for Political and Civic Education on pluralism, transitional justice and community development since 2016 and is Vice-President of the Myanmar National Catholic Youth Commission and will serve until 2021. He also endeavors to address the needs of young Catholics of Myanmar through his involvement in Catholic Social Teaching and Catechism for Catholic Youth. His motto is “the result of love and mercy is to be peaceful and to be alive with joy.”
