Sayyed Hassan Ali Alamine is the vice president of the Allamah AlAmine foundation for acquaintance and dialogue. He studied Islamic studies and history at the Imam Sadr Institute for Islamic studies in South Lebanon, which was under direct care of his father, the High Islamic Scholar Sayyed Ali El-Amine. He has translated numerous papers, poems, and essays from Arabic to English. He is interested in intra-religious and interreligious dialogue as well as social justice, growth and development and advocates for openness between religions and has attended numerous conferences and meetings related to religious issues throughout the world. As a representative of 'litaa'rafo' or  'to know each other,' he seeks a more tolerant world of acceptance and appreciation of mankind. He hopes to reform the minds of people who are dominated by sectarianism and hatred, but knows the great challenges that lie ahead of him.
