Ouhejjou Rokia is a PhD candidate at the Doctorate Center for Human and Field Studies in the Mediterranean World at the University of Mohammed V. Faculty of Arts and Humanities in Rabat, Morocco. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben - Abdallah Faculty of Arts and Humanities and a diploma from the University of Moulay Ismail Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Meknes.

Ouhejjou is passionate about building bridges between researchers and scholars on the subject of dialogue between followers of different religions. She organizes training courses for students in universities and other educational institutions on nonviolent communication and social mediation to eliminate violence, extremism and hatred. In this context, she has authored many articles on the subject, including: “The Role of Religious Discourse in Activating Mechanisms of Dialogue of Civilizations”, “The Means of Social Communication and its Role in Achieving Spiritual Security and Dissemination of Values ​​of Dialogue” as well as co-editing books on terrorism and extremism and the dissemination of a culture of peace, coexistence and dialogue.

 Her motto in life is “No matter how long the night is, the sun must rise.”
