His research interest mostly covers interreligious dialogue and sustainable development, peacebuilding, pluralism, media and religion, environment and religion, and religion and practical ethics.

Injamam believes that religions are meant for peace and harmony.  According to Injamam, it is easy to generate hatred in minds which do not have any knowledge of other religions. Consequently, stereotyping, false judgment and radical thoughts have become big issues. This is why Injamam wants to devote his life to training children and youth on religious harmony and dialogue with the goal of understanding each other. For Injamam, interreligious dialogue initiates empathy and acceptance of diverse faiths with respect.

The motto he identifies with is: “Interreligious dialogue creates connectivity and that leads to sustainable development and peace”.
