Genti Kruja is lecturer of Sociology of Religion, Intercultural and Interfaith Communication and Interreligious Dialogue. He worked as Director of Culture and Interfaith Dialogue at Muslim Community of Albania (2010–2016), Head of the Islamic Science Department (2016–2022) and Vice Dean of Humanities and Law Faculty (2021–2022) at Bedër University. He is also the Secretary General of the Inter-Religious Council of Albania.

Genti Kruja participated in many international conferences on Education, Freedom of Religion, Interfaith Dialogue and Radicalism & Violent Extremism. He is the author of some research papers and book chapters published by leading publishing houses as well as author of the book “Albanians Facing the Challenges of Interfaith Understanding”.

In 2022, he participated in the exchange program for Religious Pluralism at Seattle University, Washington, sponsored by the US Department of State.

In 2021, I elected member of the European Union External Action Service “Global Exchange on Religion in Society” (GERIS). In 2022, I elected as expert of Religious Freedom at OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions an+C5d Human Rights (ODIHR) and Vice President of ENIB “Religions for Peace”, Europe.
