Ari is an alumna of the Udayana University Faculty of Law and holds a master’s degree in Notary Studies from the University of Indonesia. She was active as a secretary from 2010 to 2012 in the Regional Board of the Jakarta Special Region’s Dharma Union of Hindu Students (PD KMHDI DKI Jakarta). From 2013 to 2015, she served as the Head of Law and Human Rights on the National Leadership Board of the National Leadership Council of the Indonesian Hindu Youth Association (DPN Peradah Indonesia). From 2015 to 2018 she served as General Treasurer now she is Secretary General of Peradah Indonesia.

Ari is also an active participant in advocating for minority groups. From 2010 to 2011 she was a staff member of the advocacy programmes of the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika National Alliance (ANTBI). In 2013 she became the Project Officer for the advocacy programmes of the Foundation of Strengthening the Initiative of Participation and Cooperation of Indonesian Society (YAPPIKA). Ari was also a fellow at the Australia Awards Indonesia in the Leadership for Senior Multi-faith Women Leaders programme in 2018 and a fellow in the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers in 2019.

Currently, she is an expert staff member of the People’s Representative Council of Indonesia’s Committee XI (Komisi XI Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia).

Her motto is: "Tat Twam Asi" (‘’I am you and you are me’’).
