The International Dialogue Centre - KAICIID is seeking a Workplace Culture and Wellbeing Consultant to support the Centre’s work by designing and facilitating tailored workshop for staff aiming to strengthen mutual trust, enhance team collaboration, and reinforce KAICIID’s core values and positive organizational culture.
An Introduction to KAICIID
The International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) is a unique International Organization which brings together religious leaders, policymakers, and experts with the aim of finding common solutions to shared problems. As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its position as a high-performing organization aligned with its mission and core values, KAICIID is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced workplace culture and wellbeing consultant. Following the Centre wide survey on staff well-being, the consultant will support KAICIID’s efforts towards enhancing workplace wellbeing, fostering trust, and strengthening team cohesion.
Specific objectives of this consultancy are to support KAICIID in promotion of:
• Psychological safety and mutual trust among staff.
• Effective team collaboration and communication.
• Clarity around institutional values and behavioral expectations.
• A positive, inclusive, and resilient organizational culture.
Ultimately, this will contribute to reinforcing value-driven organizational culture and collaborative and synergistic work across the organization.
Role:
Under the supervision of the Human Resources and in coordination with Members of Informal Working Group, the consultant is expected to:
• Review staff survey findings and all-staff workshop recommendations.
• Engage in initial consultations with key staff members to assess current organizational climate and identify strengths and areas for improvement (for example, but not limited to, Informal Working Group on Staff Well-being and Staff Representation, HR, leadership) and propose a brief action plan.
• Design and implement a 2-day tailored workshop preferably in the first half of November 2025, based on the initial consultations and the 2 staff survey reports, and provide up to 6 half day online sessions afterwards (focused on specific topics, such as teambuilding, trust-building, empowerment, effective communication, restorative dialogue). Topics will be decided after the workshop.
• Propose action plan including activities and processes that KAICIID could implement in 2026 and onwards (either with external support or by its internal resources).
Deliverables:
• Brief outline of the workshop with up to 55 staff members, based on the documentation review and inception interviews outlining purpose, objectives, approaches, progress measurement processes (within 2 weeks of onboarding);
• Facilitation of a 2-day in-person workshop and 6 online sessions (4 hrs each);
• End-of-assignment report summarizing key learnings and providing an action plan including activities and processes that KAICIID could implement in 2026 and onwards.
Our Ideal Candidate:
• At least 7 years of experience in organizational psychology, organizational development, or related facilitation roles.
• Demonstrated experience in design and leading of individual and group processes that support emotional safety, dialogue, and trust-building.
• Deep understanding of institutional dynamics, power relations, and interpersonal conflict in workplace settings.
• Strong cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse, multicultural teams.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A Master’s degree in organizational psychology, social psychology, organizational development, human resources, or a related field would be an asset.
• Prior experience with intergovernmental or international non-governmental organizations would be an advantage.
• Certification in psychotherapy and/or coaching would be considered an asset.
Languages:
• English proficiency (written and spoken).
Terms of Appointment:
Duration: Maximum of 13 working days, where 8 hours of work constitute one working day (including inception time, preparation and implementation of workshops) over 3 months.
Location: Remote, with travel to KAICIID HQ (Lisbon) for the workshops as mutually agreed.
Travel and accommodation costs will be covered separately by KAICIID if needed.
The consultancy fee will be offered in accordance with KAICIID consultancy rates, depending on the experience and expertise of the selected candidate.
