The International Dialogue Centre - KAICIID is seeking for a Social Media Consultant to support the Centre’s work through the production of high-quality social media products which clearly and powerfully communicate the importance of interreligious dialogue to a variety of audiences.

Your Team:
The Executive Office of the Secretary General (EOSG) is the immediate structure supporting the KAICIID Secretary General. The Office is tasked with the overall leadership of KAICIID and for ensuring that the Centre delivers on its mandate vis-à-vis the Council of Parties and the Board of Directors.


Role:
Under the supervision of the Communications Officer and in coordination with the Communications Team, the consultant will be responsible for the production of social media content for the Centre’s various channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube).


Your Responsibilities:
• Draft content for posting on KAICIID’s English-language social media channels;
• Manage KAICIID's presence on English social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn);
• Produce regular analytics reports, specifically on campaigns and monthly performance; 
• Adapt or produce visuals (images, graphics, GIFs, simple videos) to support social media posts;
• Monitor social media channels and manage the community;
• Prepare social media calendar and plans;
• Liaise with staff from other Divisions to solicit input towards social media content;
• Assist with administering the website, regularly uploading and editing content, troubleshooting problems, and overseeing translation in CoP languages as assigned;
• Liaise with external vendors (designers, photographers, videographers, etc.) as needed;
• Engage online influencers on social media;
• Recommend improvements and new ideas or campaign suggestions;
• Undertake any other assignments as may be required.


Our Ideal Candidate:
• A minimum of 3 (three) year experience in digital communications and/or social media;  
• Excellent writing, drafting and editing skills;
• Experience using Hootsuite and any other advanced tools for online publishing, including content management systems and social media authoring tools like Trello or TweetDeck;
• Experience in content strategy and digital marketing is an asset;
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects is an asset;
• Shows a clear and mature style of design, demonstrating an understanding of the communication requirements of an international organization;
• Excellent time management skills with an ability to consistently meet deadlines and manage a varied and demanding workload;
• Good understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms.


Languages
• English proficiency (written and spoken);
• Knowledge of Arabic or Portuguese is a significant advantage.


Terms of Appointment
This is a full-time assignment. The selected candidate is expected to start on 20 August 2025 and will be offered a consultancy agreement until 31 December 2025 (with the possibility for an extension).

The consultancy fee will be offered in accordance with KAICIID consultancy rates, depending on the experience and expertise of the selected candidate.
