Sheikh Jafari Waiswa holds a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Call and Basics of Religion from the Islamic University in Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), a diploma in education, and a certificate in Islamic Culture. He has served in different capacities such as schools' director, educator, secretary in social humanitarian aid delivery organizations in Uganda, non-governmental organizations.

He is currently the secretary for Madinah International Development Agency (MIDA), an Imam, and a patron for interreligious dialogue. He is interested in reading and researching.
