Mina Malak
Mina Malak Beshrida holds a postgraduate diploma in evaluation, follow-up and management of developmental projects from Helwan University. He also has a BLA in media from Minia University in Egypt. He works as a program coordinator of the Cultures Dialogue Forum in the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services and is responsible for helping religious leaders to promote citizenship values and spread peace in Upper Egypt.
Through his work, he co-ordinates numerous events, including meetings, conferences, workshops and round tables for different groups of young Islamic and Christian leaders, academics and media youth and representatives of civil society organizations. He believes that these activities strengthen the culture of dialogue, pluralism, diversity, and acceptance of the other among the various social groups and contribute to creating a healthy atmosphere of interaction, understanding and group work among the members of society.
He took part in the development of numerous community initiatives adopted by the Forum's programs' participants to promote the culture of dialogue among university students, where issues of sectarian violence and tribal conflicts spread among upper Egyptian governorates.
He also designs and produces short films that focus on tolerance and dialogue.
