The Seat Agreement is a bilateral agreement between the Republic of Portugal and the Centre. The purpose of the Seat Agreement is to define the status of the Centre in Portugal and to grant the Centre the privileges and immunities that the parties to this Agreement consider necessary to enable the Centre to fulfil its purposes and functions as an international organisation.
