In line with the 2023 United Nations Global campaign “UNiTE to End Violence Against Women 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence,”  this year’s KAICIID Women’s Voices series concludes with a webinar on the elimination of violence against women and girls. Casting a spotlight on KAICIID-supported initiatives, the webinar brings together women of faith from diverse backgrounds and regions to present their initiatives and discuss issues around the role of faith and interreligious dialogue, the roles of men and boys, and education. It will explore grassroots efforts and the involvement of religious communities.

The 2023 UNITE Campaign focused on the importance of financing different prevention strategies to stop violence from occurring in the first place under the title “UNITE! Invest to prevent violence against women and girls”.  It called on citizens to show how much they care about ending violence against women and girls by sharing actions they are taking to create a world free from violence towards women and girls.
