By its very interpersonal nature, interreligious dialogue can be successfully presented and taught via the internet. Yet, while one can find several online training courses on interreligious dialogue – mostly offered by NGOs or religious communities – few accredited academic online courses on this subject matter exist. The need for such accredited courses has become particularly urgent, especially among those with a history of being affected by conflict.  As well, there is an increasing necessity to institutionalize interreligious dialogue in education.
